Charcoal Roasted Oolong Tea takes traditional oolong up a notch by roasting it over a charcoal fire for 5 to 12 hours after semi-fermentation. The art of roasted tea reaches its summit in this process where heat penetrates deep into the leaves to remove vegetal smell while enhancing the bitter-sweet aftertaste. The result is a refined full-bodied drink with a strong, natural aroma of char and an amber hue.

- The semi-fermented leaf has a caramelised floral scent. Of particular note is the use of charcoal that leaves a distinctive olfactory trail, making the tea all the more addictive.

- Charcoal roasting adds depth to the flavour of the tea.

Brewing Tips:

  1. Add 7-10g of tea leaves into the teapot
  2. Pour boiling water into the teapot, rinse and drain
  3. Pour boiling water into the teapot again, cover to brew for about 50 seconds
  4. Pour the tea into a cup, serve hot
